Ann Arbor, MI (July 12, 2021) - EOTECH’s Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS®) are among the most elite optics in the world. Selected by USSOCOM and battle tested, EOTECH's combination of technology and rugged build quality offer proven advantages to all who use them.
The most significant advantage the HWS offers is extremely fast target acquisition. It allows for maximum situational awareness by providing a unique rectangular heads-up display that supports target engagement with both eyes open that maximizes the user’s peripheral vision and situational awareness. Its unlimited eye relief allows the user to position the sight anywhere on the firearm and allows for off-axis usage where proper cheek weld or sight alignment isn’t possible.
The HWS offers other significant advantages over typical red dot sights. Because it is powered by a laser diode instead of an LED, the HWS offers the smallest aiming point in the industry. This, combined with the large outer ring, often known as the “donut of death”, provides unparalleled speed in engaging targets, while offering unmatched accuracy for a 1X optic. This advantage is compounded when the reticle is viewed under magnification. The aiming dot does not magnify in size like it does on LED-driven red dots. The user maintains the small 1MOA dot but now with a target that is magnified 3-5 times in size. This allows for more precise shots downrange.

Ann Arbor, MI (April 13, 2021) - Today's marksmen rely on advanced optics technology for rapid target acquisition and long-range precision under all lighting conditions. The battle-tested Vudu® 5- 25x50 FFP now offers an illuminated Horus™ TREMOR3™ reticle for superior long-range accuracy. The Horus TREMOR3 reticle allows Vudu shooters to quickly and accurately estimate target range and size while compensating for bullet drop and wind.
This next-generation TREMOR3 reticle takes advantage of the Vudu 5-25x50 first focal plane design for accurate distance estimation, bullet drop and wind correction subtensions at any magnification. The uniform 0.2 milliradian Horus grid provides numerous aiming points, allowing for pin-point precision without guesswork. The reticle features refined "chevron" mil markers, at 0.1 milliradians, throughout the reticle for precise target range and size estimation. Vertical chevrons are ideal for milling target height, and horizontal chevrons for milling target width.
The Horus TREMOR3 features patented Time-of-Flight wind dots, providing accurate wind calls without the need to consult a ballistic chart or count numerous subtensions. A quick calculation using Horus's online TREMOR Wind Dot Calculator calibrates the reticle's wind dots for bullet ballistics and density altitude.
Easy-to-read Rapid Range Bars enable quick estimates of the range to known-size targets. The numbered vertical hash marks on both sides of the
