The EOTECH Vudu 5-25x50 with New MD4 Reticle (MOA)

Ann Arbor, MI. (October 18, 2021) – EOTECH Vudu created the MD4 reticle as an option for shooters familiar with the common MOA angular measurement system. The EOTECH Vudu 5-25x50 pairs a MIL-Dot-style reticle pattern with a first focal plane scope. This offers several advantages, including target ranging and accurate hold-overs at any magnification setting. The MD4 reticle is the latest reticle option in the compact yet powerful Vudu 5-25x50 FFP riflescope family. Now, shooters accustomed to minute-of-angle reticles and turrets can easily transition to this versatile medium- to long-range setup.

The MD4’s reticle provides a clear target view with MOA subtensions needed for precise elevation and windage holdovers. Both the vertical and horizontal crosshairs include primary hash marks every 1 MOA. Like all Vudu rifle scopes, the 5-25x50 reticles are etched, providing crisp hash marks for daylight shooting. The scope excels in low-light conditions and features ten brightness levels and a push-button illumination system. The 2-hour auto-shutoff protects batteries from draining. Thanks to its ultra-short design, there’s ample room for night vision or thermal devices in front of the rifle scope. The MD4, like other MIL-dot style reticles, works like a measuring tape to calculate estimated distance to a target and can be done at any magnification position. Using ballistic drop data, compensating for bullet drop is quick and intuitive with the MD4 reticle.

The VUDU 5-25x50 riflescope is ideal for short platform rifles. At approximately 11.2- inches long, the 5-25X is one of the shortest first focal plane rifle scopes on the market. The Vudu 5-25x50 FFP scope features a 34mm aircraft-grade aluminum tube with a hard- anodized, durable finish, creating a lightweight rifle scope in a tough-as-nails, waterproof package. The large tube allows the 100 MOA of elevation and 80 MOA of windage travel required by long-range shooters.

The Vudu 5-25x50 features multi-coated XCTM high-density glass, maximizing light transmission and offering accurate color reproduction and exceptional edge-to-edge optical clarity. And like all Vudu riflescopes, the 5-25x50 FFP is shock-resistant and can handle the harshest field conditions. The scope’s elevation turret includes a push/pull locking system and EOTECH’s EZ Chek Zero Stop feature for quick elevation dialing and return to zero adjustments.
