FASTER. SMARTER. HOLOGRAPHIC.

EOTECH HWS® optics use advanced holography—not LED projection—to deliver a faster, clearer, and more accurate sight picture. Designed for speed, precision, and situational awareness that standard red dots can’t match.

RETICLE INFO

0-RETICLE image

0-RETICLE

The 68 MOA speed ring with a 1 MOA dot enables fast target acquisition and provides three aiming points, calibrated for .223 Cal. 62 Gr., 2,900 Vel. Other calibers can be used by determining the ranges. With shotguns, the ring approximates shot patterns, which vary based on choke and shell type.

HWS® holographic optics let you view the reticle and target simultaneously for quicker, more intuitive target acquisition.

The HWS® continues to perform with precision even when the window is damaged or obscured, proving its reliability in the most demanding environments.

By projecting a holographic reticle at 200m, the HWS® minimizes parallax—making it the Close Combat Optic of choice for USSOCOM.

Built in the USA. Trusted worldwide. Every HWS® is crafted by American hands with precision and pride.

Fantastic, as always!

"Yes they are a little bigger than some other options out there but the 5x series is awesome. I bought a 512 awhile ago and this 558 recently. Easy to use, easy to find batteries, easy everything. It’s amazing how accurate you can be with an optic like this. Don’t have to worry about if you cheek ti stock weld is exact, just put the dot on the target and press the trigger. The reticle is well engineered and can do a lot across different distances with some estimation range finding tricks. It’s probably one of the most affordable ruggedized options on the market. Love everything about it. The side buttons on the 518 and 558 make it even better!"

Quick Review First Impressions.

"The weather hasn’t been to conducive to shooting outdoors but I have managed to shoot about 100 rounds using the 558 I purchased and really like it, even shooting with snow on the ground and sun glare the reticle, when the brightness was turned up was crystal clear and easy to see. Made targeting super quick and easy. First impression is very good."

Trusted Optic- No Hassle Battery

"Being someone who enjoys rifle shooting but also a life long astigmatism vision issues using generic term reddot optics can be difficult. Using the 558 still has the less than desired sight picture a shooter with good vision sees, here’s the important part knowing my limitations the 558 performs above other similar brands. At 100 yards off hand on a NRA B-27 target using a modern day sporting rifle and off the shelf ammunition all shots would consistently all placed inside the scoring rings. One advantage the 558 has is the larger window box making this optic fast and very forgiving when adding speed drills while at the range. Although this optic may be considered a dinosaur by some in today’s latest and greatest the benefits of double AA batteries and availability speak volumes. Try finding a CR123 or 1/3N for comparison."

Only HWS to own

"I purchased this HWS several years ago and haven't regretted it. I have it mounted on an FN M-4 which I use to jump hunt wild pigs and Coyotes. It never lets me down. Up close and personal or out there at distance it gets the job done! It's tough and reliable and when powered by lithium batteries it just keeps on going."

Very nice!!

"I recently purchased the 558 with the g33 magnifier and am very impressed with the quality of both units. I really like the idea of using commonly found AA batteries. I also like being in control if I need magnification or not, being able to flip the magnifier out of the way is a huge plus. The setup is very simple to use so people that have never used a setup like this will be able to dive right in. I will definitely be purchasing an exact setup again soon for another rifle."
